Our artificial Christmas trees with LED lighting (Premium Line) come with an adapter. Optional is the Smart Adapter which you can control with our Royal Christmas App for iOS and Android. The Royal Christmas App can easily be installed at your smartphone.

The Royal Christmas - smart adapter must function as an adapter.
No rights can be derived from the possibilities offered by the smart adapter app.

You buy the adapter. There are many possibilities that the app / smart adapter does not function, for example due to the operating system that is not recognized by every device or older versions of your mobile phone, tablet, etc. We are not liable for the service of the non-working smart adapter.

Royal Christmas makes every effort to keep the app up to date. After measurement, 95% functions correctly. That is why we inform customers at an early stage to avoid disappointment or misunderstandings and we are not liable if the smart adapter does not function properly.

HELP! The smart adapter does not work, does not connect?
You cannot connect to the Smart Adapter. Please try the following steps:

The Smart Adapter is very sensitive, it is best to use it directly into a socket, not into a power strip / block.

Select from the following options:
You have connected the Smart Adapter directly to a wall socket, but it is not working.

Are you able to connect to the Smart Adapter, is it visible in the App?

1. The Smart Adapter is visible in the App, but the functions do not work.
Please try a different socket before contacting us.

Do the functions work with a different socket?
No, unfortunately this doesn't work either
It seems that there is something wrong with your Smart Adapter, or that it is defective.
Try plugging the Smart Adapter directly into a wall socket. Does the lighting work and do the functions work properly?

HELP! No, the lighting does not work.
1. Remove the foot switch between your artificial Christmas tree and the smart adapter, connect the tree directly to the adapter. Does the lighting now work?
2. Please check the wiring of your artificial Christmas tree, is there a broken cable somewhere?
3. Connect each individual part of your artificial Christmas tree directly to the adapter without the foot switch, does the lighting of each part work? or not of a certain part?

2. No, the smart Adapter is not visible in the Royal Christmas app

Have you enabled Bluetooth on your mobile device (phone / tablet)?
- Yes, Bluetooth is enabled
The Smart Adapter may be defective.
To check this, we request that you use a different adapter and test whether the lighting of the item functions correctly.
- No, Bluetooth is not enabled
You must enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (phone/tablet), otherwise you will not be able to connect to the Smart Adapter and all its functions.
You can enable Bluetooth by tapping the Bluetooth icon on your mobile device.

Have you tried a different adapter and does the lighting function properly?

1. Yes, the lighting works with another adapter

How do I adjust the brightness of the lighting?
Connect to your artificial Christmas tree with the Smart Adapter.
In the Royal Christmas - Smart Adapter App you will find the "Brightness" option at the bottom.
You can get there by the slider to increase or decrease the brightness of the lighting.

How do I change the lighting / mode?
Connect to your artificial Christmas tree with the Smart Adapter.
In the Royal Christmas - Smart Adapter App you will find the option "Function (square)" at the bottom.
You tap on that and at the top you will see “Mode”.
By tapping the slider for the desired mode, you activate the correct lighting mode.

How do I set a timer?
Connect to your artificial Christmas tree with the Smart Adapter.
In the Royal Christmas - Smart Adapter App you will find the option "Timer (clock)" at the bottom.
You tap that and at the top you'll see "Add a timer."
You can now create and set a timer.

Using extension electricity box

If the artificial Christmas tree, or too many appliances, are connected to an extension electricity box, theextension electricity box will be overloaded and there is a risk of a short in the electricity circuit.
It is better to connect an artificial Christmas tree or large power consumers, such as frying pans, kettles and electric heaters, directly to a wall outlet / socket.
